Using Stock prints - there are 1000's of printed and solid fabrics to choose from and the quickest way to work. Embroidery (below) is the best way to customize your name, logo or artwork. This is not cheap: labor, fabric, cutting, thread, sewing, labels, digitations / computer set-up charges and a per piece charge - every product must be manually put up on the machines, trimming & checking, packaging and shipping.
For custom printed fabric from your own artwork designed to meet your specifications usually, 3000 yards is the minimum amount of fabric to be cold / wet printed using high-grade reactive dyes in Korea / Japan / China and or Overseas which takes 3 months from signed off artwork to fabric delivery. This yields about ~834 unisex Designer Hospital Gowns with 834 Surgical Caps across 5 sizes with about 167 gowns in each size: S, M, L, XL, XXL, plus about an extra 996 surgical caps or about 14000 surgical caps total. About 3 months production time from artwork approval. Made outside the USA.
